Yard Sale: Buy Antique Furniture, Make Twinkies

This item and many more will be available for purchase at area yard sales.

The summer yard sale season is winding down, but there’s still time to find bargains on almost anything. Here’s a starting point for sales scheduled this weekend in our area compiled from Patch’s events calendar and Craigslist.org advertisements.

Huntingdon Valley

3800 block of Bradford Road, Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  No early birds. This multi-family sale includes hundreds of rock, punk, classical and country record albums, 45s, record players, exercise equipment, sports memorabilia, clothes, books, kitchen goods and more.

Southampton

1113 Banes Road, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon. Baby toys for a boy or a girl up to age 6 will be available. Children’s clothes, strollers, bottles, various baby equipment, a playground set, in-the-box kitchen items including a juicer, roaster and Twinkie maker will also be on hand.

Warminster

1390 Spiess Lane, Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. No early birds. Everything must go. All items, including books, cassettes, videos, handbags, a baby pool and more are priced at $1.

814 Martha Lane, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This moving sale includes a mid-century modern dining set, end tables, a couch, other furniture, art, accessories, Waterford crystal, bikes, tools, clothing, an eight track in the box, costume jewelry and more.

1270 Old York Road, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. No early birds. Items for sale include baby clothing and gear, various new hair accessories, women’s clothing, household goods and Rolling Stone magazines from the 1970s and 1980s.

875 Ivyland Road, Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. No early birds. Baby items, clothes and household goods are available for sale.

Willow Grove

1844 Coolidge Ave., Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Glassware, furniture, electronics, collectibles, clothing, DVDs, CDs, and more are available.

Corner of Fleming and Mt. Vernon avenues, Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Furniture, including a queen cannonball bed, black double bed with storage headboard and two end tables and a vintage cabinet will be available, along with clothes, toys and household goods. 

Horsham

4 Goldenrod Lane, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Items for sale include kitchen, holiday and seasonal goods, table linens, crafts and decorative items, kids toys, books and boys clothing (from preemie to size 3).
