The best way to avoid a hangover is not to drink. Other ways to try avoid a hangover are to eat before drinking and to drink plenty of water while drinking alcohol to counteract the dehydrating effects of booze.
But the morning after, that’s a water (or alcohol) under the bridge. You can’t turn back time.
To help get rid of that hangover WebMD recommends getting more sleep and taking two Aspirin.
Having some water and a snack should help, according to the Mayo Clinic, which agrees on the sleep and Aspirin suggestion.
