Upper Moreland Township has posted the following announcement on its web site:
Upper Moreland Township has received many inquiries regarding the scheduling of "Trick or Treat" activities. Upper Moreland Township does not officially designate the evening for Halloween festivities nor are there any Township sponsored events scheduled. However, due to extensive damage and loss of power caused by Hurricane Sandy, residents are urged to consider postponing their Halloween Trick or Treat activities until Saturday to allow more time for storm clean-up and restoration of electric service by PECO.
