According to multiple reports, authorities in Montgomery County are investigating an armed robbery at the TD Bank on the 2900 block of West Moreland Road.
Police say they responded to the scene shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday.
According to a CBSPhilly report, a man approached the bank as employees began to open the doors for business. The employees tried to lock the doors so the robber couldn’t get in, but the individual shot the door shattering the glass. The robber allegedly forced employees to the back of the bank, even dragging one, according to police.
The individual was wearing all black and a mask. He fired at least one shot in the bank before getting away in a black SUV. No money was taken.
